Life is short, change your focus, learn something new…why not?! This very handsome guy decided to give acting and commercial print work a try in his 40’s and I think he is going to do very well! This was his first headshot session so we decided to do some character shots along with traditional headshots to show off his range.
Spring is here and it’s time to enjoy the weather and update your marketing materials!
2023 has been busy and fun. I have had many new headshot clients as well as some returning advertising clients. These are samples from my recent shoots.
The new year is here!….maybe it’s time to update your corporate or acting headshot.
New year, new look or maybe just bored with your marketing materials? You are not alone. This time of year is always crazy busy for me with new clients! Just a sampling of some recent headshot sessions.
David’s agency requested new images with brightly colored backgrounds. I gave him quite a few options and I hope they love them.
Client spotlight: Casey Hayes- Deats
Casey came to me wanting some varied character headshots. We discussed her “types” and she felt like she would do best with “kindergarten teacher” “girlfriend” “lawyer” and of course we did one that was just her everyday look.
She was fantastic! She brought a wonderful variety of colorful clothing as well as business attire. Casey was also not afraid to get into character and give me lots of great expressions.

Actor Headshots
It’s been a busy few months with actors returning for their 2nd or 3rd session with me over the years. The greatest compliment is when they are happy enough to come back for more.
“I am letting you know that I have received all five sets of photos you sent. They look absolutely fantastic. I am 110% satisfied with the final results. Thank you for all of your work and providing an easy and hassle free process (global pandemics aside…). You will definitely be getting an email from me the next time I need headshots.” John Wontrop
Teen model portfolio session
I was lucky enough to work with the beautiful Lexi. She is planning on starting her modeling career this Summer and I photographed her first set of images to send to the agencies. We kept it simple and fun. Makeup and hair by Lisa Jones- Butz.
Headshot session for actor John Wontrop
With a long lens and my mask on, I recently had a studio headshot session for actor John Wontrop. He tends to do a lot of “bad guy” roles and wanted a few shots that were more serious and expressive. So we set about to give him a mix of friendly commercial images as well as a character “tough guy.”
