It’s been a busy few months with actors returning for their 2nd or 3rd session with me over the years. The greatest compliment is when they are happy enough to come back for more.

“I am letting you know that I have received all five sets of photos you sent. They look absolutely fantastic. I am 110% satisfied with the final results. Thank you for all of your work and providing an easy and hassle free process (global pandemics aside…). You will definitely be getting an email from me the next time I need headshots.” John Wontrop

More and more lately I have been ditching the traditional background and doing environmental headshots for corporate clients. These companies all wanted to take a more contemporary approach to their business portraits. The marketing department requested more relaxed, casual poses. Their office space was a rather bland off white and beige so I used a little photography trick to add some color to their space.

The images below were done for a property management group that also wanted environmental images. They chose to do an outdoor look in front of one of their properties.

The following images were shot for a construction equipment supplier who wanted casual environmental portraits of their employees.

I was lucky enough to work with the beautiful Lexi. She is planning on starting her modeling career this Summer and I photographed her first set of images to send to the agencies. We kept it simple and fun. Makeup and hair by Lisa Jones- Butz.

What a delight to work with the wonderful folks at Dr. Becker’s office. The advertising agency needed some images of Dr. Becker and his staff with patients to add to their new brochure design.

These casual, yet polished headshots were done on location for a couple that both wanted an update to their website and LinkedIn profile photos. I used both artificial and natural light and they seemed very happy with the results. I fell in love with their dog Thor, so we did a quick family photo at the end of our session.
“We LOVE the photos!”

Kim and I go way, way back and have shot together before. She has worked for many years doing print work, TV, film and voice-over work and recently decided to let her grey hair grow naturally. I think it looks amazing on her! So, new look means new headshots. Makeup/hair by Lindsay Shields of No Filter Glam.
A two look sessions like Kim’s includes up to 5 image files retouched for $275.00
Makeup/hair services are additional and prices vary depending on the artist

With a long lens and my mask on, I recently had a studio headshot session for actor John Wontrop. He tends to do a lot of “bad guy” roles and wanted a few shots that were more serious and expressive. So we set about to give him a mix of friendly commercial images as well as a character “tough guy.”
