Life is short, change your focus, learn something new…why not?! This very handsome guy decided to give acting and commercial print work a try in his 40’s and I think he is going to do very well! This was his first headshot session so we decided to do some character shots along with traditional headshots to show off his range.
Client Spotlight- Emma Chaiken
These were Emma’s first headshots. She is a talented young actor in her mid 20’s but clearly she has an age range of 16-25. We had a great time creating headshots to show off her varied looks. These are samples of my 3 look headshot session.
Client spotlight: Casey Hayes- Deats
Casey came to me wanting some varied character headshots. We discussed her “types” and she felt like she would do best with “kindergarten teacher” “girlfriend” “lawyer” and of course we did one that was just her everyday look.
She was fantastic! She brought a wonderful variety of colorful clothing as well as business attire. Casey was also not afraid to get into character and give me lots of great expressions.

Headshot session for actor John Wontrop
With a long lens and my mask on, I recently had a studio headshot session for actor John Wontrop. He tends to do a lot of “bad guy” roles and wanted a few shots that were more serious and expressive. So we set about to give him a mix of friendly commercial images as well as a character “tough guy.”
“I am letting you know that I have received all five sets of photos you sent. They look absolutely fantastic. I am 110% satisfied with the final results. Thank you for all of your work and providing an easy and hassle free process (global pandemics asideā¦). You will definitely be getting an email from me the next time I need headshots.” John Wontrop
