Photographing gorgeous jewelry with a beautiful model for website and catalog images is a good day for a photographer. I was lucky enough to connect with String of Jewels and wonderful company run by a creative and sweet women named Traci Cormell. Website and catalog images.
The lovely Laura Boswell returned for some new headshots. Love these natural light shots done at my studio entrance. Hair and makeup by the talented Lindsay Shields.
Lily Trotters bad-ass and beautiful compression socks! What a fun project. I was asked to shoot a mix of images for their website and lookbook. I was able to book some of my favorite models and shoot at a great location. There is nothing better for me than being able to shoot commercial images with a fashion feel.

Fashion Photography gives me the opportunity to work with models, makeup/hair people and stylists. Sometimes we are shooting for a magazine and sometimes it’s for a model’s portfolio/zed card. No matter what the reason, I love being able to be creative!
Photography for bridal jewelry can be challenging. Of course, you want the images to look romantic and dreamy but at the same time a potential customer has to be able to see the details of the piece. These are just a few images from a recent shoot. The designer sells belts, headpieces, earrings and necklaces.
I recently did a headshot session for a former model turned movie producer. I convinced him to let me shoot it square and we agreed on black and white. We also did a secondary image to be used for his IMDB page.
Fashion photography is clearly my favorite thing to do. At Harford Style Magazine, we decided to dedicate one issue each year to Brides and all things wedding related. Bridal and wedding images are so much fun since you can create very dreamy and romantic settings and it’s hard not to love a photo that features a gorgeous gown on a beautiful model. Photography for pageants is something I have been doing longer than I’d like to admit. I was lucky enough to work with Brittinay Nicolette who was recently crowned Miss Maryland Collegiate America. I have hired Brittinay in the past for modeling jobs but this was our first time shooting for a pageant. Congratulations Brittinay and good luck in August at the Nationals!!
